Zerzevan Castle


AD 3-7. century

Outside the walls, 202 m of the south tower. On the hill in the southeast, in the area where the rock tombs and the quarry are located, the main rock surface was leveled and two offering bowls were built in this area. Religious ceremonies must have been held here during the Roman period. These bowls are 85-58 cm. diameter, 24-28 cm. depth and the structures are parallel to each other. The distance between the bowls extending in the north-south direction is 8.2 m.
