UNDERGROUND SHELTER-STORAGE

AD 3-7. century

In an area close to the northern city wall of the settlement, there is an underground shelter carved into the main rock, which can accommodate 400 people temporarily. The shelter, which consists of two parts, has 5 ventilations and an entrance with a spiral staircase. Each section is 14×3.5 m. The determined height of the shelter is 4.3 m. It is thought that the building was used as a structure that could be used by the people engaged in agriculture in the surrounding area during wartime, and as a food store in peacetime.
